After you’ve been comfortably sedated, the dentist will place two small titanium posts directly into the jawbone in the front of your mouth and two more titanium posts tilted at a 45-degree angle in the back. The angle allows the dentist to place the implants deeper into the jawbone than is possible with traditional implants. As a result, bone grafts that often accompany traditional dental implant surgery aren’t necessary.

Because titanium is compatible with human bone, the jawbone will fuse around the implants in a few months, firmly locking your implants into place. After the All-on-4 dental implants have fused with the jawbone, they are topped by a permanent bridge or denture, custom-made to match the shape and shade of your original teeth. Your friends won’t know the difference between your dentures supported by All-on-4 dental implants and real teeth.
