Dr. Riaz Rayek’s passion as a dentist is to make patients look and feel their best. He has been practicing dentistry in Fairfax and Burke for almost ten years and earned a reputation for warmth and care that is unsurpassed. Since 1998, Dr. Barekzi has been working at creating Virginia’s best smiles. First, he worked as a dental assistant while attending college at James Madison University, then during dental school at The Medical College of Virginia, and now as a partner at Smiles at Reston Town Center.
From an early age, both Dr. Barekzi and his brother were steered toward biology by their father. Dr. Barekzi’s brother chose the route of microbiology, while Dr. Barekzi chose dentistry because he felt it incorporated artistry and medicine.read more
Dr. Georges Traboulsi is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Saint Joseph University. He continued his training by completing an Oral Surgery fellowship at Saint Joseph University. He has training in Periodontology and a Master of Sciences in Oral Biology at Boston University, Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
In private practice he infuses his clinical approach with the latest innovations in tissue regeneration and implant research. He focuses on helping patients regain their normal function, as well as restoring and enhancing their smile.
He is a member of the American Association of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. He also volunteers at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic.
Dr. Eun Hye Lee
Dr. Lee is a Prosthodontist who specializes in implant restorations and cosmetic dentistry. She is committed to providing quality dental care for her patients while presenting treatment options that fit her patients’ needs. Dr. Lee takes the time to get to know each patient and her warm personality immediately puts them at ease. Her dedication and willingness to listen is what sets her apart. Dr. Lee earned her dental degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery before earning a specialty certification and a Master of Science degree in prosthodontic dentistry from the University of Texas Health Center at Houston.
Esam Abou Nahlah DDS, MS, PLLC
Stephanie Collins Walters has been working for Smiles at Fairfax Corner for over 6 years. With over 10 years of clinical hands-on experience, Stephanie is able to answer all of your dental and insurance questions/concerns.
In her free time Stephanie is a Show Designer for Marching Bands in Northern VA. She also enjoys spending time at wineries, museums, and visiting all the sites that the area has to offer.
Nargis recently joined our front desk team after spending time working as a dental assistant alongside Dr. Rayek. She received her bachelor’s degree from VCU where she studied healthcare administration. Nargis is fluent in Farsi, Hindi, and English which makes her a great addition to our staff.
Haleh was born and raised in Fairfax County, Virginia. She graduated from George Mason University in 2008 with a bachelor’s in Business Management. She has worked in the dental field for over 13 years and loves what she does. She enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Homeira was born in Iran. She completed her nursing school education there, and moved to Canada where she raised her family and received her formal training in Dental Hygiene. She began practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2001 and is licensed in Canada, North Carolina, and Virginia. She is a strong believer in educating her patients with oral hygiene techniques, and enjoys her work while taking her responsibilities very seriously. She is fluent in French and Farsi, and her friendly attitude will put a Fairfax smile on your face.

Reena was born in Warren, Pennsylvania. She grew up in Maryland, got married 12 years ago, and moved to Northern Virginia. She has a 7-year-old daughter entering 2nd grade. Reena graduated from University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, and then graduated from Howard University hygiene school in 1994.
Erica was born in Michigan and has lived in Virginia since 1995. Erica attended Old Dominion University and graduated in 2008. Erica recently adopted a 10-week-old Yorkie named Oliver, and enjoys visiting wineries and hiking.
Karen Nguyen-Tran was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and came to the U.S. when she was 8 years old. She did not know a word of English when her family settled in Fairfax. She went to school and lived in Fairfax, Virginia for over 30 years.

Ashley has been a dental assistant for 9 years. She loves her job because it gives her the opportunity to take care of patients and alleviate any fears that they have. Her extensive knowledge of dentistry and procedures helps her to try and create a positive experience. Ashley went back to school recently to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She hopes to get into dental school one day. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and loves that this job provides her with opportunities to learn new things.

Khatia was born in Bolivia. She came to the U.S when she was 16 years old. She attended Falls Church High School, took a dental assisting program there, and has loved the dental field since then. She has been a dental assistant for 8 years and loves her job and the feeling of helping people.
Jessica came into the dental field 9 years ago. This was not just a job for her; it turned into a life-long career. She provides her patients with their dental care needs and a listening ear, and she puts them at ease for treatment. Her goal is to gain more knowledge in this field so she can excel as a dental assistant. She is also very family oriented and dedicated to being a wife and mother.
